WeightTarget is designed with your privacy as a priority. The app operates entirely on your device and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.
WeightTarget does not collect any personal information. Specifically:
All data you enter into WeightTarget (including weight goals, weigh-in entries, and settings) is stored locally on your device using your device's built-in storage. This data never leaves your device. Backup files you export are created at your request and saved only where you choose to send them.
WeightTarget can optionally connect to Apple Health to read and write your body weight. This only happens when you grant permission and, for syncing, when you tap a sync button — nothing is read or written without your consent. Health data is used solely to display and log weigh-ins within the app. It is never transmitted off your device, never shared with anyone, and never used for advertising or any other purpose. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app under Sharing → Apps.
Progress photos taken or imported in WeightTarget are stored privately inside the app on your device, encrypted at rest. They are never saved to your camera roll, never uploaded anywhere, and can be protected with Face ID or a PIN. Deleting a photo, or the app, permanently removes it.
WeightTarget does not share any data with third parties. Since no data is collected, there is nothing to share.
You can delete your data at any time by deleting individual goals within the app or by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling the app will permanently remove all stored data.
WeightTarget does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
If we update this privacy policy, the changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
